What I Teach

I have been most heavily trained in formal classical singing and healthy musical theater technique. I always give my students a classical piece or folk song for technical purposes, but I love to work with them on music that is important to them as well- no matter the genre.

My objective is that my students will learn:

• To sing in a healthy, technically correct manner.
• Ear training skills that will help them be better musicians.
• To expand their musical knowledge of genres, composers, etc.
• To have positive auditioning and performing experiences. 
• To love music even more.
• To build self-confidence.
